Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through Ecopet.

We manually inspect all orders due to credit card fraud. This means there can be delays in processing your order request. If you submit your order outside of our normal business hours, please expect to wait until the next working day before your order is acted upon.

1. Right of cancellation and returns policy
As our valued customer you have the unconditional right to cancel your contract within 14 days of delivery, without being obliged to state any reasons. To comply with this time limit, all you need to do is  return the goods bought online

If you return goods bought online, the purchasing contract is cancelled and you will be refunded once the delivered goods have been returned. Should the goods show signs of use or damage on return, we reserve the right to appropriate compensation. We must request that you to return goods at your own cost. You will find the address to return goods to on the front page of the website. 

If the goods arrive damaged, please contact Ecopet for a full refund. Faulty goods are fully refundable, inclusive of delivery, return and extra costs. Please inform us  within the first two days of arrival, of faulty goods or goods damaged in transit.

Your statutory rights as a customer are not affected by any of these conditions.

2. Conclusion of the contract
Before submitting your order, please review the details inputted and ensure all are correct and adjust if necessary.
Once you have gone through the ordering process at Ecopet.ie by entering the details as prompted, you make a binding offer to purchase the goods from Ecopet by clicking on the button "Submit Order".

This offer is accepted and the contract is thereby concluded by dispatching the goods you ordered. The contract is therefore brought about when the goods you ordered are dispatched. In certain cases, we may ask you for proof of identification and generally reserve the right not to enter into a contract.

3. Dispatch & Delivery
Deliveries can only be made while stocks last. In the very rare case that goods are not deliverable, we reserve the right to accept an offer in part. Delivery costs will be calculated on the resulting order value and charged only once. Please ensure that you have a correct daytime phone number with your order, if the delivery company are unable to contact you they may not be able to complete delivery. If delivery is returned you will be charged for it to be resent.


At the current time delivery is only available within the island of Ireland. It may become available beyond there in the future. Our deliveries are made with the delivery service GLS and its relevant partners.

After an order is shipped, which is usually completed within two working days of its receipt, it usually takes three to four working days for it to arrive.

Trade or wholesale orders cannot be accepted.

4. Prices and delivery costs
Delivery charges are €5.00 for orders under €74.99 or free for orders over €74.99. Should delivery be undertaken in several stages for technical or logistic reasons we will of course only charge you once for delivery costs

5. Reservation of ownership
All goods remain unqualified property of Ecopet until payment has been received in full.

6. Payment, due date, failure to pay
Payment for goods is to be made by Visa, Mastercard, , Amex. We can accept payment sent in the form of cheques, Laser or money orders, but orders will not be processed untill these have been cleared with the bank and we are not responsible for loss.

Your credit card will not be charged until your goods leave our warehouse. In the case of possible returns the amount paid will be refunded. Should your credit card have insufficient credit we reserve the right to invoice you for the costs incurred in making requests for payment.
